Tuesday morning brought with it some mixed emotions as camp day had finally arrived. Our years 3, 4 and 5 children headed off to Galston to meet up with the children from the Hornsby campus. The children were involved in bike riding, swimming, low ropes, Christian Discovery and bush walking. I am looking forward to hearing of the wonderful adventures that they had when they return.
Kindy, 1 and 2 remained at school to keep Steven the Snake and Larry the Lace Monitor company. The school felt a lot bigger this week with 10 of our big kids away. The younger children made the most of the space and took the time to enjoy the surroundings.
This week we have had plenty of visitors. Professor Elizabeth Lee is on a working holiday from Canada. She spoke about the differences and similarities of Australia and Canada. We also had Clint, AJ and Chloe come and do a Hot Shots tennis program and a fitness circuit. The younger ones have also had the pleasure of sharing time with Mrs Smith, Mrs Thomlinson and Mrs Lipman in the absence of Ms Brown and Miss West. We have felt very lucky and grateful to have them visit.
Have a great Easter!
