As we head out of the Summer months and into Autumn, we can sit back and think of what has been. It was only three months ago that we were sitting at our end of year presentation night dreaming of the holidays or the trips we were about to go on. I could not of possibly imagined that we would be at this point three months ago, delivering an education to a special group of children, in surroundings that are beautiful. It has only been three months but you should see the changes to our little piece of paradise. We are now fully functional using the Nyang Shack, internet has arrived and our grounds are looking magnificent thanks to the maintenance team.
This week, we have started to focus on persuasive writing. Getting your thoughts down on paper can sometimes be a struggle, however, if we are given an opportunity to discuss and argue our point we can usually get our minds around it and produce a good meaningful argument, in the right tense. Being able to persuade is a powerful tool and the students have engaged effectively in the activities.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you at our Cross Country Carnival on Thursday to be held on the Hornsby campus.
