At our campuses, learning outside the classroom is common.
The use of places other than the classroom for teaching and learning is a common occurrence. It is about getting children out and about, providing them with challenging, exciting and different experiences to help them learn.
Different experiences arise through outside learning spaces as students are encouraged to engage in their learning environment. It’s easy, give students a real-world learning experience that will set them up for success in life beyond school.
Well hasn’t remote learning exposed the children to a whole new world. Will it ever go back to normal?
During the first two weeks of Term 2, our focus will be settling back into routines and developing these safe and healthy habits. We need to remember what school was like before and how we need to evolve for the future. Ngarralingayil Barker and Darkinjung Barker staff and students are so happy to be back and are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our campus again very soon.
